JKD Books

The Tao
of Jeet Kune Do
is a classic text that includes many of the notes Bruce Lee took
from his large personal library. Every JKD enthusiast should have
this book in their library.

Jeet
Kune Do: The Arsenal of Self-Expression
by Teri Tom takes an in-depth look into the teachings of Ted Wong.
If you're interested at all in what the late Ted Wong taught, this
book gives you a strong foundation in the basics.

Jeet
Kune Do: Bruce Lee's Commentaries on the Martial Way
is a more current collection of Bruce Lee's notes. Unlike the "Tao
of Jeet Kune Do", this editon divides chapters into a more
user-friendly training manual.

The
Straight Lead: The Core of Bruce Lee's Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do
by Teri Tom is an excellent resource for the Straight Lead punch.
Teri Tom is a long-time student of the late Ted Wong.

The
Art of Expressing the Human Body
is a collection of workout routines that Bruce Lee performed during
his lifetime. Very interesting insight into how Bruce Lee developed
his body throughout the years.

The
New Toughness Training for Sports
by James Loehr examines "toughness" in sports psychology
by looking at various athletes and their performance. A solid plan
for improving your performance is given.

The
Talent Code: Greatness Isn't Born
by Daniel Coyle. If you've ever been interested in the "how"
& "why" of great talent, this book delivers! This
is one of my favorite books on this subject and I've read it numerous
times.
